Tamalyn Dallal and Maria Sangiorgi will join forces to teach their innovative, creative and original ways of instructing Bellydance on the famous rolling hills of the Marche Province of Italy. Tamalyn and Maria first met in Italy 5 years ago at the International Dance Council Conference in San Marino. They discovered they share many similar philosophise about dance and have maintained an ongoing friendship, support and respect for each other’s work as dancers and teachers. Whilst Maria’s approach is more somatic, with influences such as Alexander Technique, Body Mind Centring and Continuum Movement, Tamalyn’s is based more on social consciousness and cultural understanding. Their styles compliment one another and they both share similar philosophies and dancing toward the same goal. Peace, joy, and embodiment.
They are delighted to have this opportunity to bring together their methods of imparting knowledge and offer this very unique opportunity for dancers to deepen their skill base and dance practices offered in their avant guard teachings.
What better place to do this than in Italy! As a participants you will spend 7 nights* at La Ragola Country House and Yoga Centre with host, Anna Maria Ponggelli. La Ragola is located on a hill top with a panoramic view of rolling hills, patchwork fields, the village of Ostra and outer lying villages with Apennine Mountains in the distance. Each day, after six hours of dance, you can relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi, and enjoy time taking in the view and spectacular sunsets on the veranda. You will take pleasure in the delights of Italian cooking, with all meals, snacks and drinks provided.
The five day training will be interspersed with a one day outing with local sommelier Marco Candi from Marcos Way Tours. He will guide us on a high quality wine and food tour of the region.
As a participant you are also invited to join Tamalyn, Maria and local Musicians and Dancers in a Concert at the beautiful 18th century Teatro La Vitoria in Ostra.
All inclusive cost:
- Accomodation is full board including all meals and snacks.
- 30 hours of tuition from Tamalyn and Maria.
- Pick up from local Train station or Airport.

Dancers who live in the region do not need to stay at La Ragola. You are welcome to attend on a day to day basis. Attending the tour is also optional, although it would be a wonderful way to get to know and make connections with the international attendees and to show off were you live.
